The concept of the feminine values in the classic Greek and Roman sculpture emhasizes the natural emotions, the natural movement of the emotions. They are then purely feminine, reflecting the naturally realistic gracefulness. A human mind, heart and innermost feeling should wonder about today´s complex and in the dangerous way emphasized concept of the basic nature of the feminine values!!! And by these feminine values I mean classically what it is thought of a woman at large. It is not only the question of the problematic situation of the commericality. It is the vast unanswered dilemma of it that the reality of the feminine values is so shattered and broken and with the striking opposites in itself. The opposites not beautiful. The historical fact that motherhood has its own special sphere in the classic womanhood completely outside the sexuality is not seen. The another historical fact that the sexuality with the lives of the women when it is very independent can create and creates both very bad and very good results is never clearly seen. While it gives to a woman of the high intelligence and mature emotional experience the richer life chances, it at the same time with too many others makes a woman only a cheap copy of it what she could have been. And in this is of course the lesson of the timeless wisdom and gracefulness in it that they are not the opinions of the changing ages and generations which ultimately can resolve what is low and high in this context, but in all this it is the part of the living evolution of the cosmic life and that is why they are the needs of it which show the final outcomes ultimately which is right and wrong, which is high and low. The deeper understanding of the real classic concepts of the feminine values would remove many obstacles from the future happier life of billions female lives now and in the endangered, but potentiall also rich, days of the future. |
